About Eddy Davis

The coach who still
shows up on site.

35+ years. 5 companies. Municipal management. First Nations public works. And still actively building in Metro Vancouver.

Background

Not your typical business coach.

Most business coaches come from the consulting world. They understand frameworks, funnels, and financial models. What they've never done is yell across a framed wall to a crew that's going in the wrong direction, or manage a $3 million municipal infrastructure project for a remote First Nations community with no road access.

Eddy has done both — and everything in between.

His career spans 35+ years working in construction management, community planning, municipal public works, and private construction across British Columbia. He has served as CAO and Executive Director for First Nations communities, Director of Public Works, building inspector, estimator, project manager, and CEO — often wearing several of those hats simultaneously.

He holds a Business Degree from Mount Royal University with a focus on entrepreneurship, and is a certified Building Inspector. He continues to take on contract project management work in Metro Vancouver — which is precisely the point.

"I coach on what I'm actually doing — not what I did ten years ago. The market today, the crews today, the margins today. That's the difference." — Eddy Davis

The coaching practice at Tumbleweed Consulting is a deliberate evolution: taking 35+ years of hard-won experience and passing it directly to the builders and renovators who are living the same challenges he navigated.
